A jest's prosperity lies in the ear
of him that hears it, never in the

Hometown and Current Residence:[/i] He said, almost grinning to himself. Now, if only he could find shelter until the storm settled. Though, it seemed it would be a while before. He stepped into the department store, pulling his hair back into a pony tail. The day was far from over. "Can I help you, sir?" A young blonde asked him, grinning at him. "Yes, I would like to find some new, dry, clothes, if you don't mind." The rep smiled at him. "Sure thing! Right this way, sir." She grinned, malice tingling from her tongue.

He observed the blonde girl, paying close attention to her every move. Trust was not something that came easy to Jerrock. However, he continued to follow her. Her blonde hair fell in tingles as she ran her opal fingertips through them. She stopped suddenly, turned around and smiled at him. "This may seem your style, sir." She handed him a black leather jacket. "Yes, this will do. But I need a shirt and some pants if you don't mind. I can't just wear this jacket." He said nonchalantly. She blushed slightly, then carried on. "Yes sir. Though, I'm not sure anyone would complain about the sight of such." Was...she...flirting? Was his sexuality really that elusive? He smiled gently to her. She gave him a simple white tee and a pair of boot cut jeans with various tears. "Thank you very much." He said to her. "How much do I owe you?" She looked at him wearily. "No cost, with the condition that you meet with my boss." He raised an eyebrow.
It's like they always say: Nothing's free. He followed her through the room and sat in a chair. "One moment, and he will be free of his meeting. A man with silver hair came out. "This is him?" He said, a deep voice rippling through the void of sound. She only nodded. "Come with me, please." But Jerrock stayed in place, planted. "What's all this about, anyways?" The girl smiled at him and held out her hand. "I assure you, we mean you no harm." She grasped his hand and helped him to his feet. Leading them into an office area, the man sat behind his desk.
"We've been watching you for a while, Mr. Kidd. Nothing, personal. But we weren't sure if it was indeed you." That led to another eyebrow raise. "So you've been stalking me? And what is this, the place you wish to murder me? I hope you can find a good place for the body." He retorted, chuckling. "That's not exactly what he means, Jerrock." The girl replied, her skin starting to shiver.
Lo and behold, her form changed! She was blue, now with red, straight hair. But, she was still beautiful regardless. "Mutants, I assume?" The man cackled. "You're funny, Mr. Kidd. My name is Eric, and I am leader of the Brotherhood. I'm sure you've heard the news about Mutants?"Jerrock looked at him. "Call me AJ. And, sorry, but I don't really have a television." The man looked him up and down curiously. "Humans don't accept us, and never will for that matter an-"
"-Whoa." Jerrock cut him off. "Before you start the 'you're either with us or against us' routine, I'm not really interested..."[/ul][/blockquote]
