Powers:

Involuntary Power Absorption: Can absorb the memories, knowledge, talents, personality and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of another human being (or members of some sentient alien races) through physical contact of her skin with the skin of the other person. She is not limited to absorbing superhuman abilities: for example, she has absorbed the strength, agility, and sharp reflexes of an enhanced human. She can also absorb psionic abilities. In absorbing another persons memories Rogue also gains the emotional responses connected to them. For the transfer of abilities to be accomplished, Rogue’s skin must contact the skin of her victim. Rogue can only absorb abilities and memories from living organic beings. She can possess the powers of several superhuman persons at once. No upper limit has yet been determined for the number of superhuman beings whose power she can maintain simultaneously, or for the amount of power that she can absorb. When Rogue had her powers blocked she was able to touch other’s, now that that block has eroded she’s can still touch them. She has control over her powers a bit now, and at least if she does touch someone it won’t kill them, and she won’t abosorbe everything, just, a bit, an impression, that also means when she means to absorbe she gets a hell of a lot more.

History:

Marie was born to hippy parents in Mississippi. She grew up around New Orleans, and knows French fluently as well as English. She grew up a simple life, until a few years back, she kissed a boy for the first time, and he went into a coma. Her power’s manifested. The Mississippian ran all the way to Canada, where she met up with Wolverine, and snuck on his trailer. He caught her (after driving all of five miles or so) and decided to help her. They were attacked, and that’s when they met up with Storm, and Cyclops.

From there Rogue was quickly put into the school. She seemed to blossom. She grew quickly, her power’s getting controllable. Then her teacher Jean Gray, died. Or seemed to. That pushed her into the X-men, along with her boyfriend Bobby. Iceman. But she couldn’t touch him. This… bothered her. Then about a year and a half ago, Phoenix came back. And a cure. The boy with the cure. She made the choice to go get it. To make herself fully human. But it didn’t work. A few months ago… she got it back after she found out that Bobby was cheating on her for Kitty. That… hurt. She touched them both, and suddenly she was taking from both of them. And she yanked her hands away as they both collapsed. Her powers were back, but when Storm came to comfort her after she bolted, but she didn’t take her powers. Rogue was estatic, even if she had hurt her friends. She could control herself! There was hope. But getting to excited made her start to take Storms powers. That made her stop. No extream emotions. At least for now. But there was hope.
